Lumenance is searching for a motivated individual that is able to assist in the execution of Human Resource related business processes. As we are an engineer focused, entrepreneurial team, the ideal candidate must be able and willing to work within a small, continuously evolving, engineering-focused business.
The successful candidate will be located in the Douglas/Bisbee, Arizona area.
Process
Responsibilities:
This position will report to the Process Owner for Lumenances Develop and Manage Talent process. While the position will not be directly responsible for defining the policy & procedures for related sub-processes, the ideal candidate will have the experience and ability to assist the Process Owner in developing basic process definitions while being one key player in the execution of the following processes:
Create and develop employee requisitions
Gather skill requirements according to business needs
Develop employee diversity plan
Develop and communicate HR policies
Plan and administer employee benefits
Manage job requisitions
Recruit/source candidates
Manage pre-placement verification
Manage applicant information and relationship
Manage employee orientation and deployment
Manage employee performance & development
Manage and administer benefits
Manage employee work authorization
Relocate employees/new-hires
Manage employee off-boarding
Skills Required:
Very good English communication skills - both verbal and written
Solid understanding of Human Resource related policies, procedures, and best practices in the United States
Polite, energetic, and a willingness to learn new things
Able and willing to assist current and prospective employees to develop clear, concise resumes using Lumenances standards including assisting in the writing of resumes as needed. It is anticipated that the successful candidate may initially spend up to 20% of their time in this area.
Strong interpersonal skills - including collaboration with engineers, follow-up phone calls with job candidates, and active participation in team meetings
Strong planning, and organizational skills - with an ability to manage competing demands
Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate business software: Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and related
Creative approach to problem solving - with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the big picture view
Comfortable (if not downright excited about) working for a small business
Positive, cooperative, professional, can do attitude
Youll really impress us if you have these:
Ability to verbally communicate with Spanish speaking engineers
Above average savviness with web-based applications (both using them and participating on a team that is developing them)
Above average ability to quickly learn new computer applications
Ability (or willingness to learn) to help with HR related accounting processes (e.g. payroll)
Entrepreneurial spirit and skills
At least 2 years experience in Human Resource related processes in the United States
Understanding of Human Resource related policies, procedures, and best practices in Mexico
Minimum Qualifications
4-year degree in Human Resources Management or related field
Positive attitude, willingness to work hard, and demonstrated ability to learn quickly (as evidenced by an above average GPA and/or excellent job references)

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
